Flower Power!!!! - May Challenge!!!!

Ok..  so when I think of May, I think of "April Showers bring May Flowers"  well..  with all the rain, it seems like we are going to have lots of May flowers!!!  

Our May challenge is...  FLOWER POWER!!!!!

We will let each pound equal one flower!  

Start whenever you want...  PM me or post it here, and I'll keep the totals on a spreadsheet.  Then the last weekend of the month we will weight in... 

My goal for May is eight pounds...

Love this challenge!  My goal for May is 15 pounds. My current weight is 203, 15 pounds would take me down to 188! I haven't seen that weight in over 6 years!

My goal is 13lbs--that will take me to 175--I haven't seen that in over 13 years(since before I was pregnant with my youngest!)

 How fun, Amy!  I love your creativity when it comes to these challenges!

Put me in for a nice bouquet . . . I'm a bandster and the weight comes of slower, so I'll keep my goal reasonable and shoot for losing 10 petunias in May.  I get my first fill next week so the scariness of what's affectionately referred to as Bandster He!! will end soon.  Hopefully.  And I should be able to get back to normal exercise soon (hop on the ol' elliptical).  Today begins my 5th week post op.  Wow!

My first weekend on soft foods was rough.  But I'm starting May's challenge at 229.2 and am back to logging my food, blood sugar and exercise after the weekend off.

Start:  229.2
Goal:  lose 10 petunias (pounds) 

Hopefully by the end of the month I will be in the 210s!!!!  Oh, how that would rock!

Ok, I want in . I am having my surgery May 18 so I am not sure what I would lose but I am going for about  ten pounds this month of May. It may be unrealistic but that is my goal for May.

WOOHOO Sonya, welcome to the challenge!!!!   I don't know much about RNY, but I don't think 10 pounds is unrealistic!!! 

Cannot wait to have you on the looooooser's bench!!!

It is so good to see you going for the 10 petunias...  I have been averaging only about 2 pounds a week, being a bandster too.  It is sometimes slower, but as long as we stay on the loosing side then we are doing good!

I've got you down and I know you can do it!!!!
